(SV) Inaugurating the National Congress Party(NCP) elections campaign at Kurmuk, President Al Bashir announced that the National Police is the only party responsible for securing the national elections process. He noted that the NCP has named one nominee at each elections levels and its candidate for the Blue Nile State governor seat was Dr. Farah Ibrahim Alaggar whose integrity competence and leadership skills had been proven. Bashir informed that the NCP programme would focus development of the state, notably war-ravaged areas as well as the border regions that should enjoy stability and peaceful social coexistence. Tar marking of Damazeen-Kurmuk, Kumuk roads and town roads will be prioritized on the program, besides, the construction of water dams for harvesting rain waters, and installation of water plants. Reporting the keenness of Kurmuk people to render the democratic transformation successful, Dr. Alaggar assured that the NCP would sweep elections in the state. Mayor of Blue Nile Tribes and chairman of the popular committee, Dr. Almak Hassan Adlan speculated that the Blue Nile State would play a crucial function in electing Al Bashir national president for the coming parliamentary term.
